f(x) member Amber has released a new solo track “On My Own” via all major music sites including MelOn, Genie, and Naver Music.

“On My Own” is an easy listening pop ballad with a warm electric piano-based sound. Amber contributed to the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of the song, so fans can look forward to seeing her fingerprints on the song.

The lyrics are based on Amber’s personal experiences with finding hope in the face of hardship. To reach more fans, “On My Own” has been released in English and Korean versions.

“On My Own” feat. Gen Neo seems to be part of a greater project that Amber is working on called “Crossing,” the teaser for which you can catch below.

No music video yet for “On My Own,” but Amber hints that one may be in the horizon in a tweet immediately following the release. “IT’S OUT!!!! :] mv….. soon? :],” she writes.
