Jung Joon Young Band Announces Name Change And Comeback Plans

What was formerly known as Jung Joon Young Band will now be going by the name Drug Restaurant.

On May 20, the group’s agency C9 Entertainment Real Live officially announced that Jung Joon Young Band has changed its name to Drug Restaurant.

This is to shift the focus from the frontman, Jung Joon Young, to the group as a whole.

The name Drug Restaurant is said to represent the group’s desire to provide listeners with greater relief than any drug in the drugstore and to offer a gateway out from the pressures of the society.

Fans can look forward to hearing new music from the rebranded group in the near future as they are currently working on a new album. They will also be performing at the Seoul Jazz Festival on May 28.
