Yoo In Young Explains Why Kissing Lee Jin Wook Felt Awkward In “Goodbye, Mr. Black”
She shares that the romantic scenes with Lee Jin Wook were very awkward for her. “I’ve only acted with Lee Jin Wook in tvN’s ‘The Three Musketeers‘ and ‘Goodbye, Mr. Black,” but a lot of people think we have acted together a lot,” she says.
“We became close through ‘The Three Musketeers’ so it was awkward for us to act romantically in this last drama,” Yoo In Young continues.
Yoo In Young reveals that she became friends with Lee Jin Wook through Kim Ji Suk, Lee Jin Wook’s close friend. “I acted with Kim Ji Suk before so we got close first. He would tell me about Lee Jin Wook here and there, but the first time I actually met Lee Jin Wook was for ‘The Three Musketeers,'” she says.
Soon, the three of them would hang out often, drinking tea and grabbing meals together. “Although there is an age difference, we are all very close,” Yoo In Young shares. “This is why it was awkward to act as lovers with Lee Jin Wook.”
“I’m comfortable with him, but scenes where we were so close to each other felt awkward. Thankfully, there were much more scenes where we were acting as friends, but the occasional kiss scene or romantic scene was so awkward that we would just laugh.”
Meanwhile, “Goodbye, Mr. Black” aired its last episode on May 19, and the entire drama is available on Viki. You can catch the first episode below!
