"Cheese in the Trap" Producer Talks Progress In Casting Female Lead Opposite Park Hae Jin

Following news of Park Hae Jin’s casting in the male lead role for the film adaptation of “Cheese in the Trap,” there has been in an increased interest in who will be his female co-star.

On May 24, the film’s production company Mountain Movement Story opened up about their progress in finding a female lead.

“There hasn’t yet been any discussion about the female lead,” the production company’s rep shares. “We are planning on keep all of our options open.”

The rep also says that since the film is a joint Korean-Chinese production, there is a possibility that the female lead role may be filled by a Chinese actress.

Meanwhile, the film “Cheese in the Trap” will begin filming early next year and is slated to hit theaters in the summer of 2017.
