Ahn Jae Hyun's Punishment Forbidding Phone Calls With Ku Hye Sun Leaves Him Speechless

On the June 3 broadcast of “New Journey to the West 2,” producer Na Young Suk suggests taking away Ahn Jae Hyun’s phone as a punishment for not completing a given mission.

Kang Ho Dong, Lee Soo Geun, Eun Ji Won, and Ahn Jae Hyun are given 40 minutes to eat all the food that they are assigned and arrive at their dorm on time.

Producer Na Young Suk warns, “You may be thinking, ‘Let’s take our time, all we have to do is finish eating.’ If you fail to complete this mission, Kang Ho Dong has to become a vegetarian until midnight tonight, and I’m going to take away Ahn Jae Hyun’s phone at midnight.”

When Ahn Jae Hyun starts worrying that he may not be able to talk with his wife Ku Hye Sun because of the punishment, producer Na Young Suk says, “Hey groom, you talk on the phone too much! With Mrs. Ku (Ku Hye Sun).”

Lee Soo Geun explains, “Ahn Jae Hyun and Ku Hye Sun promised to call each other every hour. This punishment is too harsh [for Ahn Jae Hyun],” but the producer remains firm.

Thankfully, the members complete the mission with one minute still remaining, and Ahn Jae Hyun becomes relieved knowing he can call his wife.
