"Infinite Challenge" Writer Reveals Unique Fan Fiction She Wrote In The Past About Two Cast Members
A passionate love story once written by the youngest staff writer of MBC’s “Infinite Challenge” about two cast members has been revealed on the show.
On its June 4 episode, the “Infinite Challenge” members welcome new writer Shim Hee Won into the crew by reading a fan fiction she wrote when she was in her second year of middle school.
Yoo Jae Suk reads out the story entitled “You Are Different,” which begins with Jung Joon Ha brooding about his one-sided love for Park Myung Soo, when Park Myung Soo arrives and tells him off for showing his body on broadcast.
The two members squirm at their cheesy dialogue, including a line by the fictional Park Myung Soo saying, “Are you an easy man? Why would you show your body without permission?”
At this, Yoo Jae Suk exclaims, “I can’t read this,” and tosses away the paper.
Writer Shim Hee Won is asked why she chose to write about the two members and explains, “At that time I was a fan of Yoo Jae Suk, so I thought I would lose my chances with him if I wrote about him like that.”
She then states that after writing “Infinite Challenge” fan fiction, she became a fan of TVXQ and wrote about them instead.
This relieves Jung Joon Ha, who states, “She got her act together,” to the laughter of everyone on set.
