EXO’s Chanyeol To Sing Theme Song For His Film “So I Married An Anti-Fan”
EXO’s Chanyeol will be singing the theme song, titled “I Hate You,” for the Korea-China collaborative film “So I Married an Anti-Fan,” alongside costar Yuan Shanshan.
“So I Married an Anti-Fan” is the story of an entertainment reporter, played by Yuan Shanshan, who gets fired while trying to reveal the secrets of Hallyu star Hojoon, played by Chanyeol. She becomes an anti-fan, but after a series of events, starts to fall in love.
“I Hate You” is a sweet, cheerful song about the two, who meet as enemies and become lovers.
While some have expressed surprise at the news that Chanyeol will be singing a song for the film, as he is most widely known as a rapper for EXO, many are highly anticipating a song from Chanyeol, who has on several occasions showcased his singing ability via his personal Soundcloud.
Also appearing in the film is Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun, who plays a trainee at the agency that represents Chanyeol.
Local media reported that the movie is set for premiere in China on June 30, and released a poster for the film, pictured below.
