Girls' Generation's Seohyun Is In Talks For Chinese Web Drama

Girls’ Generation’s maknae Seohyun is growing her footprint in the Chinese market as an actress.

On June 20, Seohyun’s management agency SM Entertainment denied reports that Seohyun has been confirmed for the female lead role in a new Chinese web drama.

“She has received a casting offer for the female lead role, and we are the in final stages of discussion,” SM Entertainment says. “She has not been confirmed [for the drama]; there’s more discussion left to do.”

After focusing on musicals, Seohyun is slowly spreading her wings again in the big and small screen. She will be making her film debut this June with the premiere of “So I Married an Anti-fan.”
