Lee Min Ho’s Fans Give Back For His Birthday All Over The World

In honor of Lee Min Ho’s 29th birthday (international age), his fans have decided to give back in his name!

Holt International Children’s Services revealed on June 22 that the DC Inside Lee Min Ho Gallery donated almost 11.9 million won (about $10,000) to the charity.

The donations will be used to help the children from single-parent families and foster homes. In February, Lee Min Ho and Holt created a social contribution agreement through the donation platform PROMIZ.

Lee Min Ho’s Korean fans donated 1.2 million won (about $1000) to the Korean UNICEF branch, while his Mexican fanbase donated food and school supplies to low-income families. His fans in Vietnam volunteered at facilities for the disabled while in Thailand his fans donated money to the national hospital’s expansion fund.

In Chile, the fans donated school supplies to children and in Japan they made it possible for the Japanese UNICEF branch to give the polio and measles vaccines to over 3000 children. In China, his fans donated to a children’s protective centre in Shanghai while elsewhere they donated necessary supplies and in one area a library.

Lee Min Ho’s agency released a statement saying, “He was able to spend a more meaningful birthday due to the generous donations made by fans in his name.”
