Tiffany Talks About Difference Between Recording At SM Versus JYP

On the June 24 episode of KBS 2TV music program “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” Girls’ Generation member Tiffany appears as a guest.

During the show, she talks about her time as a cast member on “Sister’s Slam Dunk.” She jokes, “I think I got casted so that I could be Jessi unni’s translator.”

Tiffany also talks about the difference between recording at her label SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment, which is where the “Sister’s Slam Dunk” cast has been recording their song.Girls' Generation Tiffany

“The first thing SM focuses on is technique rather than feel. However, JYP told us, ‘It’s okay if you’re bad, just bring alive the feel, the soul.’ It was a very different experience [recording with JYP]. I think I’ve developed more air when I sing.”

Do you agree with Tiffany’s view of SM and JYP’s differences when it comes to singing?
