Watch: Girls' Generation's Taeyeon Is Sunkissed In New MV Teaser For "Why"

On June 26, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon released a teaser for the music video of her newest song, “Why.”

The retro-looking video gives off a 90s feel, as the singer lounges by the pool, relaxing and soaking up the sun. Just like the video, the music has a fun electronic sound and upbeat tempo that is perfect for summer.

Prior to this, Taeyeon dropped her pre-release track, “Starlight,” which features R&B singer DEAN.

“Why” is the title track of her upcoming mini album of the same name, which will also include a collaboration with fellow Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon.

It will be released on June 28, at 12 a.m. KST.
