Watch: SM Artists Cover “Imagine” With Katy Perry, will.i.am, David Guetta, And More For UNICEF Project
SM Entertainment has partnered with the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) on its 2016 #IMAGINE Project, a campaign that promotes equal opportunities for all children.
Prepared since 2015, the 2016 #IMAGINE Project recently released a beautiful cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine” featuring the voices of SM artists who are also special representatives of UNICEF.
Those featured in the music video include Super Junior’s Choi Siwon, TVXQ’s Changmin, Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun, SHINee’s Choi Minho, EXO’s Chen and Baekhyun, and Lee Dong Woo.
American artists Katy Perry and will.i.am also make an appearance along with French DJ David Guetta, among others.
SM artists are familiar faces in UNICEF campaigns, with several groups and idols being selected to be special ambassadors. Just last year, for example, EXO collaborated with fashion brand SPAO to support a UNICEF charity campaign. TaeTiSeo donated a portion of their Christmas album proceeds to UNICEF as well.
