15&'s Baek Yerin Opens Up About Why She Avoids Appearing On TV Shows

On the July 2 episode of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” 15&’s Baek Yerin came as a guest and appeared on the show for the first time alone.

When asked why she doesn’t appear on broadcasts that often, the young singer confesses, “I’m not that good at talking, so I avoid it. It’s also awkward seeing my own face through the camera. I’m not that confident of my looks.”

She continues, “Since I’m a timid person, I tend to pay a lot of attention to online comments.” DJ Yoo Hee Yeol asks what’s one of the best comments she’s read so far, and Baek Yerin answers, “I was really happy when I read one that said, ‘She’s a singer for life.'”

The singer also goes on to point out the pros of her own voice, saying, “It’s one that you can continue listening to comfortably. My dream is to become a better person and continue my music career expressing my feelings through lyrics.”

Meanwhile, Baek Yerin recently made her solo comeback with “Bye Bye My Blue,” a soothing ballad that showcases her strengths.
