Baek Ye Rin Shares How She Got Into JYP Entertainment
On the July 1 episode of KBS’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” Baek Ye Rin shared how she got into her agency JYP Entertainment.
“My debut stage was on ‘Star King,’” she said. “I sang Whitney Houston’s ‘I Have Nothing.’ It’s a dark time for me because I took things too easy. I didn’t know what I was doing then.”
She added, “I entered JYP when I was in Grade 4 in elementary school. I participated in the first round of the auditions. Jang Woo Young oppa took first place and I took second.”
Baek Ye Rin debuted in 2012 with Park Ji Min in the duo 15& and recently made a solo comeback with “Bye Bye My Blue.”
