Yoo Seung Ho Talks About Shedding His 'Nation's Little Brother' Image

On a recent episode of MBC’s “Section TV,” Yoo Seung Ho sat down for an interview in order to promote his upcoming movie, “Kim Sun Dal.”

Having debuted at the young age of seven, the actor is well-loved as a “nation’s little brother.” Regarding this, Yoo Seung Ho says, “I worked hard to escape my image as a child actor. I didn’t know that attempting to act more adult roles would be this hard or tiring. I don’t think I’ve completely perfected it yet.”

He also addresses his sudden decision to enlist in mandatory military service in his young 20s, and confesses, “I originally wanted to become a soldier. Sacrificing your life for your country seemed really admirable.”

Meanwhile, Yoo Seung Ho’s newest movie “Kim Sun Dal” will premiere in South Korean theaters on July 6.
