Lee Joon Gi Looks Back On Filming For "Scarlet Heart: Goryeo"

Having recently finished up filming for SBS’s upcoming drama, “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” on June 30, Lee Joon Gi, who plays the lead male role, gives his final thoughts regarding the end of filming.

On July 4, through his agency Namoo Actors, the actor says, “The final day is here. To be finally be finished after a long run like this, it feels both refreshing and sad. I hope that I can become a huge strength to this drama, and I think I was able to wrap things up on a good note thanks to the many people who helped, as well as due to the guidance of all the actors, director, and staff members.”

He concludes, “I’m happy that our team, who’s been through all the ups and downs together, managed to work together with no accidents or injuries, and I hope that we can receive as much love as the amount of effort we put in. It’s really touching, and I thank everyone.”

Meanwhile, “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” will premiere on August 29 following the end of “Doctors.”
