Super Junior's Kangin Recommended To Be Fined For DUI Accident

On July 7, it was revealed that Seoul Central Prosecutor’s Office fined Super Junior’s Kangin for his drunk driving accident. The Prosecutor’s office requested that he be fined 7 million won (approximately $6,050) on July 5.

Kangin had a DUI accident on May 24. He had been drinking alcohol and driving when he hit a streetlight in front of a convenience store.

The police previously released a statement stating that Kangin’s blood alcohol content at the time of the accident was determined to have been 0.157 percent and forwarded their findings to the prosecutor’s office with a recommendation of indictment.

Previously, Kangin had a DUI hit-and-run accident in 2009.
