Suzy Is The First Korean Female Artist To Have Wax Figure Made By Madame Tussauds
On July 11, JYP Entertainment announced that a wax figure of Suzy would be put on display at the Madame Tussauds museum in Hong Kong.
Madame Tussauds is a famous wax museum chain found all over the world, where wax replicas of historical figures, including famous actors, singers, and sports stars, are displayed.
According to JYP, English experts came to Korea for the production of Suzy’s wax figure, and took seven hours to get Suzy’s body measurements alone.
Suzy said, “As the first Korean female artist to be invited to Madame Tussauds, it’s such an honor. Taking part in the long process of creating a wax figure was a new experience, and I want to say thank you to the production team. I’m looking forward to the day that the figure is up for fans to see.”
In time with the revealing of her wax figure, Suzy will be visiting Hong Kong in early August.
