Watch: “W” Drops Teaser For First OST, Performed By Jung Joon Young

Jung Joon Young is up first to release an OST for the new hit drama “W”!

On July 26, “W” shared a teaser video for Jung Joon Young’s track, which features scenes from the show’s first couple episodes. The track is officially titled “Where Are U” in English, with a Korean title that could be translated as “Whether I Go to You, Or You Come to Me.”

Jung Joon Young is the vocalist for the group Drug Restaurant (previously “Jung Joon Young Band”), who is well known for both his musical talents and his wit, and stars as a cast member on “2 Days & 1 Night.”

The modern rock track was composed by copykumo (real name Park Sung Il), who also composed the OST “The Road” sung by Kim Yoona for “Signal,” and Kim Min Seung’s “Thumping” for “She Was Pretty.”

“W” is a romantic suspense drama in which Han Hyo Joo’s character Oh Yeon Joo finds herself transported back and forth from the real world and the world of a webtoon, where she meets the comic’s star Kang Chul, played by Lee Jong Suk. Many viewers have praised the show’s first two episodes for its balance between humor and drama, clever plot line, and the sparkling chemistry between the two leads.

Jung Joon Young’s OST for the track is slated to be released on July 27 at noon KST.

“W” airs every Wednesday and Thursday on MBC.
