Verbal Jint Releases Remorseful Tracks About Drunk Driving
Following his drunking driving incident in June, Verbal Jint has released two tracks “The Chase” and “True or False.”
The rapper posted a clip on his Instagram account and wrote, “Two songs tonight. They include what I have to do, regret and resolution. 1. The Chase 2. True or False had some things to clarify. two new tracks tonight.”
“The Chase” includes lyrics such as “every night I think about the people I could have killed” and “now I say no to drunk driving.” Likewise, “True or False” includes lyrics like “I regretted it the next day that’s true” and “it’s only three cans I’m not drunk yet that’s false.”
Verbal Jint got his driving license suspended after the DUI and is taking a break from activities to self-reflect.
