The August 5 episode of KBS2’s “Music Bank” was an Olympics special. The first place contenders were Wonder Girls with “Why So Lonely” and GFRIEND with “Navillera.” Wonder Girls won with 6,248 points. Having completed promotions for “Why So Lonely,” Wonder Girls was not present to receive their trophy.

With the Olympics set to start, different singers took time to cheer on various athletes competing soon. There were special stages to show support for Team Korea. Other performances found ways to incorporate their support as well.
