Jessi Grants Her Father's Wishes On "Sister's Slam Dunk"

On the August 5 episode of KBS2’s “Sister’s Slam Dunk,” Jessi goes on her dream family vacation and fulfills the wishes of her father in return.

While on their vacation, Jessi’s parents talk about her getting married and decide through a “son-in-law world cup” who they want most as a son-in-law. In the end, they respect their daughter’s preference and select actor Ha Jung Woo, who Jessi has often named as her ideal type.

The cast then try to trick Jessi into thinking that they brought Ha Jung Woo on the show. Because they secretly brought her parents over as well, Jessi nearly believes the ladies and starts getting excited, but soon bursts into laughter when she discovers it was a prank.

Upon their return from their vacation, her father confesses, “I wasn’t going to come, but I changed my mind for my daughter.” Jessi responds, “It’s been really difficult these days. It’s the first time I’ve smiled through the hardship,” and expresses her gratefulness to her parents.

Later, the “unnies” come over, hilariously sporting clothes and makeup in Jessi’s style to find out the wishes of her parents.

Her father shares, “I want to eat food prepared by my daughter, go on a drive with her, watch her perform, and work out together.”

To grant his requests, Jessi spends some alone time with him while her mother hangs out with the other members.

Despite her clumsy cooking skills, the rapper serves kimchi fried rice for her father, who happily consumes the meal. The two then pay a visit to her agency’s office, where Jessi conveys her feelings to her father with the song “Stay” by Rihanna.

Finally, the members and Jessi’s parents all meet up to watch Dynamic Duo’s concert where she appears as a guest performer, granting the wish of her father to watch her perform live. Jessi completes a thrilling performance with her trademark charisma as her father watches proudly, seeing his daughter all grown up.
