YoonA Dominates Chinese Music Chart With Her Solo Songs

Girls’ Generation member YoonA has taken over the charts in China!

At her fan meetings in China, she sang three remake songs that were later released in the country. Immediately upon release, all three of the songs controlled the top three positions on the Alibaba weekly music chart for the week of August 1 to August 8.

Her three songs “Red Bean,” “The Moon Represents My Heart,” and “A Little Happiness” overtook the number one to three spots and on top of that, “Sailing,” the sweet song released by Girls’ Generation on August 5 to commemorate their ninth debut anniversary, is the fourth spot. Following her role in the Chinese drama “God of War, Zhao Yun,” YoonA has seen her popularity in the country take off immensely and this turn on the music charts further serves as proof of that.

YoonA recently confirmed her participation in tvN’s upcoming drama “K2” (working title) alongside Ji Chang Wook. It is set to air in late September.
