Kim Woo Bin Discusses Relationships With His Actor Friends And How He Likes To Hang Out

In a recent interview with Elle magazine, actor Kim Woo Bin spoke about his personal relationships and how he likes to spend time with friends.

He said, “Outwardly, it might seem that I like to go out a lot, but I like quiet days at home more. Now, having some drinks with friends somewhere quiet is the best.”

Kim Woo Bin said he prefers soju over wine. “My tastes are unrefined, so I don’t drink the expensive stuff. There’s a big dining table at Jo In Sung‘s house which serves as [our group’s] hideout, and we just have tea and talk.” The group that Kim Woo Bin refers to includes Cha Tae Hyun, Jo In Sung, Song Joong Ki, Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Ki Bang, Bae Sung Woo, and EXO’s D.O.

The actor said that they call any one of each other up whenever they get the chance, and that despite doing the same work, there’s no jealousy or other negative feelings between them. “Whenever I get a screenplay, I ask them to watch the show for feedback, and it’s the same with any concerns I have.”

About his philosophy on personal relationships, Kim Woo Bin said his family had a big influence on him. “Following what my parents always told me about valuing others, whenever I meet someone, I try to maintain that relationship as long as I can. If there’s something to congratulate them on, at the very least I send a text.” The actor continued, “There’s no need to hide your feelings. While I might have to be careful with women (laughs), I’m the type to say ‘I love you’ a lot, be it to guys, women, or my parents. I think that’s one of my pros, that I’m good at expressing my emotions.”
