A new teaser has been released for CL’s impending comeback, revealing some more information on the 2NE1 leader’s new solo and American debut track.

“Lifted” was produced by Teddy, and written by Teddy, CL, and Asher Roth. But more than the producer or writers, what has caught fans’ eyes is the announcement on the teaser that CL’s new track samples from “Method Man” by Wu-Tang Clan, a legendary ‘90s hip hop group from New York City.

Korean news reports that CL personally met with Method Man, a member of Wu-Tang Clan, who approved of “Lifted.”

“Lifted” will be released at midnight on August 19, simultaneously in Korea and the United States.
