YG Producing SBS's "Flower Crew" Is "All Because Of Yoo Byung Jae"
According to reports, we have Yoo Byung Jae to thank for YG Entertainment teaming up with SBS to produce “Flower Crew.”
Asked why YG made the leap to start producing a variety show when the agency artists generally don’t appear on variety shows, a source from YG said, “It’s all because of Yoo Byung Jae.”
When Yoo Byung Jae appeared on the pilot episode of “Flower Crew,” he had said, “There’s no work that I’m doing these days. Everything I was doing went under.” Although fellow cast member Seo Jang Hoon tried to do a save, saying that he heard from Yang Hyun Suk that Yoo Byung Jae is doing a variety of work,” Yoo Byung Jae denied, and said that it’s not true.
After the broadcast, Yang Hyun Suk reportedly asked Yoo Byung Jae’s manager and staff if it was true, asked for more info on “Flower Crew,” and went to SBS the next day.
“Flower Crew” airs on September 5.
The pilot’s cast members included Seo Jang Hoon, Ahn Jung Hwan, Jo Se Ho, Yoo Byung Jae, Kim Min Suk, and BTS’s Jungkook. However, Kim Min Suk and Jungkook will not be a part of the regular programming due to their busy schedules. Sechs Kies’s Eun Ji Won and Lee Jae Jin will be joining the show in their stead.
