Yang Hyun Suk Gets Sentimental In Text Convo With BLACKPINK's Jisoo After "Inkigayo" Win
YG Entertainment’s Yang Hyun Suk expressed his pride and support for BLACKPINK in a text message to member Jisoo.
On August 21, Yang Hyun Suk shared a screenshot of his conversation with BLACKPINK member Jisoo on Instagram.
On the same day, BLACKPINK won their first trophy on SBS’s “Inkigayo,” setting the record for the earliest music show win for a girl group. Only 13 days into their debut, BLACKPINK was nominated for first place with their debut singles and went home with the trophy for “Whistle.”
After their win, Jisoo wrote Yang Hyun Suk, “Boss, thank you,” along with a photo with the ladies of BLACKPINK forming hearts for their boss and said, “It seems the past six years you guys spent training were not in vain. I’m getting emotional too. Congratulations ^^.”
Yang Hyun Suk previously displayed his special fondness for the four, having uncharacteristically directed and participated personally in the preparations of their debut showcase.
Since their debut on August 8, BLACKPINK has swept music charts and set record after record domestically and internationally with “Whistle” and “Boombayah.”
