Kim Yoo Jung Talks About Acting Manly And Her Own Personality For Elle

On August 22, Elle Magazine released photoshoot images of Kim Yoo Jung dressed in a mature and simple style. The actress is starring in the upcoming drama “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds,” where she plays Hong Ra On, a woman who dresses as a man and enters the royal palace.

During an interview with Elle, Kim Yoo Jung talks about dressing up as a man, saying, “I’m not really girly by nature, so pretending to act like a man was comfortable. I have an easygoing personality. Ever since I was little it was hard for me to act coy or try to look good for someone.”

Kim Yoo Jung also shares her thoughts on acting in an anticipated drama that’s based on a popular romance novel. “When I don’t believe in myself and act in an uncertain way, I think that I’m betraying the people who believe in me. As long as I don’t let pride get to my head, I think it’s important to have confidence in yourself,” she explains.
