PSY Fulfills Life-Long Dream With Creation Of YG Independent Label

According to a entertainment source, YG created another independent label known as “PSYG.”

PSY conceptualized the label, and officially registered it this past June. PSY’s label PSYG is an independent label under YG, much like Tablo’s label HIGHGRND, which houses artists such as The Black Skirts, Hyukoh, and more. Another YG sub-label is The Black Label, which houses YG producers Teddy, Kush, and Zion.T.

“Even when I entered YG, it was an unspoken promise with Yang Hyun Suk,” explained PSY. He will be heading PSYG, and will be experimenting with a variety of music genres and building up a foundation for his label.
