Kim Gook Jin Takes 1st Place Ahead Of Yoo Jae Suk In Variety Brand Power Rankings For August

Comedian Kim Gook Jin has taken the top spot in the variety show brand power rankings for two months in a row!

According to the Korean Business Research Institute, according to the 7,646,899 pieces of data collected from August 2 to September 3, Kim Gook Jin has taken the first place amongst 13 other variety stars.

The results come from data that measure brand participation, media coverage, and communication.

Kim Gook Jin’s index came in at 1,575,280 and the second place went to Yoo Jae Suk, who had 1,174,069. In third place was Yang Se Hyung, who has been gaining popularity from “Infinite Challenge.”

The Korean Business Research Institute revealed, “Overall the variety star data came in lower than the previous month, which can be due to the late summer time, when many people go on vacation.”

They explain the cause of Kim Gook Jin’s rise in index, saying, “Kim Gook Jin and Kang Susie’s admittance of a relationship was a huge story this summer and helped him take the top place, followed closely behind by Yoo Jae Suk and Yang Se Hyung.”
