Park Bo Gum Is Shocked When His Popularity Works To Other Team's Advantage On "2 Days & 1 Night"

Park Bo Gum’s massive popularity was put to good use by his opposing team on this week’s episode of “2 Days & 1 Night”!

The actor is currently guesting on “2 Days & 1 Night” for the show’s group trip, with September 4’s episode being the third episode to follow the cast and guests Park Bo Gum and Kim Joon Hyun as they travel in two teams. The teams earn points for each of their activities, and so they naturally want to find out how many points the other team has racked up so they know how much they need to do to surpass them.

Throughout the filming, Park Bo Gum is kind enough to take photos with the fans who approach him as he travels around with his group, including the people who’ve played games with them. When the opposing team is wondering where his team is, Jung Joon Young says, “I’ll find out where they are. I just have to search ‘Park Bo Gum’ on Instagram.”

This is so successful that not only do they find photos of Park Bo Gum on Instagram, the photos show his bag, where he’s affixed the buttons with the points his team has gained so far. Jung Joon Young happily shouts when he sees the buttons, and all the guys on the team can’t believe their luck and his stroke of genius.

Later on, the two teams talk to each other over the phone as they’re both eating dinner in separate restaurants. Park Bo Gum’s teammate Cha Tae Hyun tells the other team that they have 800 points so far, but they reply, “What are you talking about? You had 840.” They then explain how they found out about their points through “Detective Jung Joon Young”‘s investigation.

Park Bo Gum looks absolutely shocked when he hears this. The opposing team laughs as they show all the shots they found because of Park Bo Gum’s fans who had been taking photos of the filming, which also revealed what they were up to and where.

Park Bo Gum turns to the staff and said, “I shouldn’t have put these on [the bag.]” He looks frustrated with himself as he cutely says, “Ah, that was dumb. I should have swung the bag around so it was on my back!”
