Watch: Members Of BTS, EXO, VIXX, TWICE, And More Go Head To Head In "Idol Chef King" Preview
MBC’s upcoming chuseok special “Idol Chef King” has shared its first trailer!
The show held its preliminary competition last month, featuring 216 idol applicants from 62 groups in total, with the goal of discovering the best cook within the idol world. Applicants who battled it out in the preliminaries in an attempt to grab a spot on the show include members of BTS, EXO, VIXX, TWICE, AOA, NCT 127, BTOB, B1A4, Hello Venus, Oh My Girl, Lovelyz, and many more groups.
On September 5, the show shared a sneak peek at the competition by releasing a trailer video. In addition to the applicants’ introductions, the video shows how the preliminary competition was set up, with each of the idols carrying out a cooking task in an enclosed numbered cubicle. Some look like they’re having more trouble than others, such as AOA’s ChoA who’s laughing over her pot boiling over and Baekhyun of EXO who says “This is too much!” with a laugh, while others such as BTS’s Jin seem to be totally in the zone.
“Idol Chef King” will be airing on September 14 at 6:15 p.m. KST on MBC. Are you excited?
