Rolling Stone Names BLACKPINK As A New Artist You Need To Know

Rolling Stone magazine has named YG’s rookie girl group BLACKPINK as one of September’s 10 artists that you need to know.

Along with BLACKPINK, Rolling Stone featured artists such as Noname, Dua Lipa, and Young M.A.

Rolling Stone introduces BLACKPINK as a group bringing a “unique fusion of bubblegum pop and hard-hitting hip-hop” to K-pop, and recommends BLACKPINK’s music to fans of CL, 2NE1, and Ariana Grande.

Jisoo said, “I still can’t believe it. Finally achieving our dream of debuting after waiting for so long, I felt a bit empty. Now we [BLACKPINK] have even more dreams to fill that emptiness. We’ve achieved the first step by debuting, and we’re going to accomplish bigger goals soon.”

BLACKPINK will be following up their powerful August debut with a comeback in October.
