Girls' Generation's YoonA Reflects On Her Intriguing Character In "The K2"

In an recent interview that aired on September 15, Girls’ Generation’s YoonA dishes on her newest role in tvN’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama, “The K2.”

The idol begins by introducing her character, Go Ahn Na, who is the hidden daughter of a prime presidential candidate Jang Se Joon. Raised to never see and never be seen by the outside world, she suffers from panic disorder due to her traumatic past and continues to live in seclusion.

YoonA reveals that she chose the character because she didn’t think another opportunity to film with seniors she admired would come so easily, and she wanted to try act out this character. She comments, “It’s a new experience because it’s a character I’ve never acted before.”
