SM Launches New Variety Show "my SM Television"

SM Entertainment recently created a new variety show titled “my SM Television” (also known as “my SMT”), a program where fans and idols can interact during the show.

The variety show airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. KST through Chinese video site Youku as an exclusive live broadcast. Each episode highlights guests from SM Entertainment interacting in a variety of corners. The show will also incorporate the viewers’ comments, games, and votes so that fans can participate in creating a new kind of broadcast program with the stars.

Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk and NCT’s Doyoung star as the show’s MCs. The first broadcast aired September 19, showcasing Red Velvet’s Irene and Wendy. The two members shared what they knew in SM Entertainment in a corner titled “Weekly Communication” and also took part in a “Speed Object Quiz” where they competed with fans.

The next episode of “My SMT” will air on September 26, and will feature SHINee’s Minho and Taemin as guests.
