BTS's Rap Monster Opens Up About Taking On Challenge Of Dancing Solo For BTS FESTA

After BTS recently released a video of Rap Monster and Jin rehearsing their solo dances for the group’s anniversary party, Rap Monster took to Twitter to talk about the experience.

The guys celebrated their third anniversary this year with their annual “BTS FESTA” which culminated in a birthday party fan meeting on June 13. During the party, Rap Monster performed one of Jimin’s solo dances, while Jin took on one of J-Hope’s. On September 22, the group shared a video of the pair being taught the routines by Jimin and J-Hope and working hard as they try to get the moves down, before performing to the cheers of their groupmates.

After the video came out, Rap Monster wrote on the members’ official Twitter, “Seeing the Bangtan Bomb yesterday really made me think about that time… Honestly, I’m not sure how many times I’ll be dancing on my own in the future… But still, I sometimes see J-Hope, Jimin, or Jungkook dancing and I think they look really cool, and even though I see it everyday, there are times when it all feels new.”

“Because I think that I shouldn’t be a nuisance, I often think that I want to dance better too,” Rap Monster goes on to write. “My friends next to me help me out a lot. Although only one part of it was shown in the Bangtan Bomb… I’m always thankful. And I was happy that I didn’t make any mistakes and finished it well. It felt very odd, and different compared to when I’m rapping.”

He continues, “Although I always get stressed out because of dancing, I enjoy it too. I’ll work hard and try to be cooler with this album too.”

BTS is currently gearing up for a comeback with their second full album, entitled “WINGS.”
