Super Junior's Leeteuk Leaving "Kiss The Radio," Radio Show At Risk Of Being Cancelled
On September 28, KBS spoke up about some updates regarding long-running radio show “Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio.”
A source from KBS stated, “Leeteuk will be stepping down from being ‘Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio’ DJ. This matter was decided upon after a long discussion with producers.”
“Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio” started in 2006 and has aired every night for two hours starting at 10 p.m. for 10 years. The radio show celebrated its 10-year anniversary on August 21.
Unfortunately, along with Leeteuk leaving the radio show it appears as though the radio show itself might end as well since there might not be a Super Junior member being a part of the radio show. It has been revealed that they are currently discussing potential follow-up radio programs. KBS has commented that nothing has been confirmed yet regarding this matter.
Leeteuk and Eunhyuk were DJs for the radio show starting August 2006. Fellow members including Sungmin and Ryeowook have been DJs for the show as well.
