Why Doesn't Yoo Jae Suk Install KakaoTalk On His Phone?

You Jae Suk reveals a very wise reason why he chooses not to use the popular mobile texting app KakaoTalk.

Actors Lee Dong Gun, Jo Yoon Hee, Cha In Pyo and Ra Mi Ran appears as guests on the September 29 episode of KBS variety show “Happy Together 3.”

On this episode, MC Uhm Hyun Kyung asks why, despite being on the show for the past six months, she has still not been invited to the Kakao Talk group chat for the show. Jo Se Ho answers, “Yoo Jae Suk sunbaenim does not use Kakao Talk,  so we don’t have a group chat.”

You Jae Suk then reveals why he does not have the app, explaining, “The reason I don’t use it is because I see people on that app all day. That’s all they do. I don’t like that.”

Jo Se Ho adds, “Instead, one time, Yoo Jae Suk sunbaenim sent me a bunch of emoticons through a text message. It made me really happy.”

Netizens praised Yoo Jae Suk’s reason, saying, “It’s so considerate that he doesn’t use the app. People ignore the people in front of them and just stare at their phones all day.”
