Wonder Girls Tops Gaon's Digital Singles Chart For Third Quarter Of 2016

Gaon has released the rankings of digital singles for the third quarter of 2016, with girl group Wonder Girls topping the list.

Wonder Girls released “Why So Lonely” this past July and took No. 1 on multiple domestic music charts. Despite being almost 10 years since their debut, the girl group has stayed strong in the industry by constantly shaking up their image and genre.

“Why So Lonely’s” success is also particularly meaningful because members Sunmi and Hyerim participated in the composition, rather than in-agency producer and JYP founder Park Jin Young.
