“New Journey to the West” is coming back!

On October 18, a source from the variety show reveals, “A new season of tvNgo’s ‘New Journey to the West’ is confirmed.”

The source continues, “After shooting in Korea on October 24, we are set to leave for China. The show is going to continue with the current members for now.”

“New Journey to the West” is a variety show about four men who head on a trip to China, where they solve various missions. It aired online as a pilot program for season one, and was extended for a second season which was broadcasted on television.

The first season’s cast comprised Kang Ho Dong, Lee Soo Geun, Eun Ji Won, and Lee Seung Gi. Following Lee Seung Gi’s enlistment for mandatory military service, Ahn Jae Hyun joined the show on its second season.
