
TWICE's "Cheer Up" Is Gaon's No. 1 Streamed Song In 2016
The girls of TWICE are unstoppable!
On October 20, the Gaon Chart announced that TWICE’s “Cheer Up” was their most-streamed song in 2016. The song was released on April 25 and in 42 weeks had accumulated a record of 93.7 million streams.
TWICE already holds an impressive history in the records department, with 100 million streams of their debut track “Like OOH-AHH” and incredible music video view counts for both “Cheer Up” and “Like OOH-AHH.”
The nine-member girl group from JYP Entertainment is planning on their second comeback of the year on October 24 with their third mini-album “TWICEcoster: Lane 1” and the title track “TT.” Making their records even more impressive, TWICE celebrated their first debut anniversary only a few days ago.
