BEAST's Yoon Doo Joon In Talks To Play Lead Role In New tvN Drama

Yoon Doo Joon may be making return to the small screen in the near future!

According to an industry source’s statements on October 27, the leader of BEAST is currently positively considering the offer of the lead role in a new tvN drama, “Introverted Boss” (working title).

The character he would potentially play is Lee Hwan Ki, the elusive president of a leading PR agency. While he may seem cold and unapproachable to many as he keeps his distance, the character is actually extremely shy and introverted to the point he overanalyzes and is overly careful about everything.

The drama tells the story of this man who ends up losing everything because he would rather die than gain attention at the PR agency, and how he grows as a person, not just in terms of his success.

It will be directed by Song Hyun Wook of “Marriage, Not Dating,” “Super Daddy 10,” and “Another Oh Hae Young.” The script will be written by Joo Hwa Mi who worked with the directer on “Marriage, Not Dating.”

“Introverted Boss” is set to air sometime in January 2017, and will take over tvN’s Monday-Tuesday time slot following the end of both “Drinking Solo” and season 15 of “Rude Miss Young Ae.”
