Park Hyo Shin Talks About Returning To Music On First TV Appearance In Seven Years

On October 28, Park Hyo Shin made his first official TV appearance in seven years on “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.”

During the show, Park Hyo Shin spoke about his relatively long hiatus from the music industry. “For a while I didn’t listen to music at all and absorbed myself in other work,” he said.

Yoo Hee Yeol commented, “When I try to sing your songs at karaoke, it feels like my lungs, let alone my vocal cords, are falling apart.”

But Park Hyo Shin said, “My songs are difficult not because they are high but because of the emotionality. Unlike some of my other songs, ‘Wildflower’ never dulls my emotions no matter how many times I sing it.” Indeed, when the singer sang “Wildflower” on the show, he ended up shedding tears.

The singer also spoke up about his perfectionism. “If I don’t practice a lot, I become afraid to stand on stage. I even practice every detail of a wedding performance.” He shared that his typical go-to song for a wedding performance is Lee Juk’s “It’s Fortunate.”
