Watch: "Hwarang: The Beginning" Releases Fun, Flower-Filled Behind-The-Scenes Video

After releasing individual and group posters of the cast, “Hwarang: The Beginning” has also released a behind-the-scenes video for their recent poster shooting!

In the released video, the main leads introduce themselves and their roles. Go Ara, who plays Aro in the drama, describes “Hwarang: The Beginning” as a fusion sageuk that portrays the youth and passion of the Hwarang warriors of Silla.

Park Seo Joon then explains that the drama will show how his character Moo Myeong joins the Hwarangs through an event, and changes into becoming the character Seon Woo. Park Hyung Sik also introduces his character, describing him as a ‘faceless king’ who later shows growth and development. The video has a very bright and fun mood, with the cast members taking individual shots and group shots.

“Hwarang: The Beginning” airs its first episode on December 19, 10 p.m. KST.
