EXO's D.O. Amusingly Says Jo Jung Suk Gave Him "Swearing Lessons"?
In honor of their movie “Brother” coming out, Jo Jung Suk, EXO’s D.O., and Park Shin Hye sat down for an interview with MBC’s “Section TV” on November 20.
D.O. and Jo Jung Suk will be playing a pair of brothers, a national judo athlete and a troublemaker who’s been in jail, respectively. The two will meet and live together due to unexpected circumstances after not talking to each other for years on end. Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye will be playing D.O.’s judo coach.
Jo Jung Suk talked about how he had to “learn” how to swear for the movie, and eventually he became so accustomed that the words just rolled off his tongue like it was second-nature.
Because his character also has some scenes where he swears, D.O. revealed that he actually learned how to do so from the older actor.
Referring to them as “lessons” to Jo Jung Suk’s amusement, the singer said, “He taught me very well, [about] the tone and pronunciation. After I took a lesson, the syllables starting to slightly roll off my tongue too,” D.O. sincerely stated.
The cast also showered each other with endless compliments as they discussed more about their characters’ interactions in the upcoming movie.
“Brother” will premiere in South Korean theaters on November 24.
