Jackson's Shoes Almost Become A Curse On "Weekly Idol"

On the November 23 episode of “Weekly Idol,” the MCs and guests (TWICE’s Dahyun, MONSTA X’s Jooheon, and GOT7’s Jackson) were presented with a challenge: beat BTOB’s Minhyuk and you get to end work early.

As Minhyuk is known for his extraordinary athleticism, the challengers knew they’d be in for a hard time the moment they saw him. And rightfully too, as the move of his that they had to mimic was almost an acrobatic trick itself. From a sitting position on the ground, they had to lift themselves up on their hands and bring their legs behind them to transition into a handstand.

Dahyun was the first to attempt the move, followed by Jooheon, but both failed to execute the move. Jackson was the last to try, but as he valiantly attempted the move, the soles of his shoes were too thick, so he could not succeed either. The idol then disappointedly exclaimed, “Ah! Shinbal!” (“Shinbal” means “shoe” in Korean, but also sounds very similar to a Korean curse word)

His exclamation stunned the MCs and threw everyone into laughter, but thankfully the situation was quickly clarified.
