Uhm Tae Woong Allegedly Blackmailed With Sex Tape
The latest revelation involving Uhm Tae Woong’s solicitation and false sexual assault charges has been revealed.
On November 29, the first trial against Kwon (35) and Shin (35) took place. Shin is the owner of the massage parlor while Kwon was an employee. Uhm Tae Woong solicited sex from Kwon in January 2016. Kwon later filed a complaint of sexual assault against Uhm Tae Woong in July. The actor denied the claims and accused her of false accusation.
Following this, Uhm Tae Woong was found guilty of solicitation of prostitution and was fined 1 million won (approximately $850).
Now it has been revealed that Kwon and Shin installed a car black box inside the massage parlor and secretly filmed the sexual interaction. The police knew of the video’s existence previously, but could not identify whether or not the individual was Uhm Tae Woong due to poor video quality.
With Shin’s detailed testimony regarding the hidden camera filming, it has now been suggested to the prosecution that they be indicted under the sexual violence law.
Kwon and Shin are currently under suspicion of repeatedly trying to blackmail Uhm Tae Woong after the incident for 150 million won (approximately $128,000). Kwon has denied the allegations while Shin has admitted to most of the charges.
