SHINee's Onew Discusses His Past Academic Achievement And Ambitious Streak

Onew appeared as a guest on the November 29 episode of KBS2’s “1 vs. 100,” where his academic prowess was brought up.

During the show, he shared, “I was watching from behind earlier today, and I got all the answers right.”

When MC Jo Choong Hyun asked if the SHINee leader usually has strong ambition, he responded, “When I find something I want, I get ambitious.”

The MC then remarked, “I heard as a high school senior you reached second place in your whole school.”

Onew answered, “I worked hard.” He continued, “Today I’m facing a hundred people, but I won’t cower. This is a competition so I will be determined and try to win.”

In the end, Onew was able to get past six stages before being eliminated on the seventh round.
