BewhY Shares His Thoughts On The Prejudices People Have Towards Hip-Hop

Rapper BewhY recently shared his opinions on the prejudices that many people have about hip-hop.

The rapper appeared as a guest on SBS Power FM’s “Cultwo Show” on December 5. During the broadcast, he shared, “I don’t smoke or drink.” DJ Jung Chan Woo then commented, “Hip-hop seems very rough, but it isn’t,” to which Bewhy replied, “A lot of people think that hip-hop is only about dissing. It’s regretful to see it being portrayed that way. Dissing is only one genre of rap.”

BewhY continued, saying, “Lately it seems like young people are only dreaming about rewards. Rather than having a purpose in their actions, they seek out compensation, which is regrettable. There needs to be an attitude of love and craftsmanship towards work. If you look towards something else, you might waver in your path.”

Meanwhile, BewhY recently performed a collaboration stage with pianist Yiruma at the 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
