Twitter Korea Reveals 2016's Top 10 Most Followed Accounts, K-Pop Dominates
To add on to the flurry of year-end rankings, Twitter Korea has released, together with its list of Top 10 Twitter Keywords, another list ranking the top 10 accounts with the most followers, which happen to all be those of K-pop artists!
The cut-off date for the ranking was December 2. First place goes to G-Dragon, while Super Junior takes the prize for being the most well-represented group in the list.
The full list is as follows:
- BIGBANG’s G-Dragon – 7,069,503
- Super Junior’s Siwon – 5,407,918
- Super Junior’s Donghae – 4,935,715
- 2PM’s Nichkhun – 4,472,782
- PSY – 4,279,140
- BTS – 3,742,068
- Super Junior’s Yesung – 3,639,526
- BoA – 3,514,271
- Suzy – 3,499,861
- Super Junior’s Leeteuk – 3,464,804
And here is the ranking for 2015:
- Super Junior’s Choi Siwon – 5.08M
- BIGBANG’s G-Dragon – 5.06M
- Super Junior’s Donghae – 4.86M
- PSY – 4.1M
- Super Junior’s Yesung – 3.43M
- 2PM‘s Nichkhun – 3.38M
- Suzy – 3.34M
- Super Junior’s Leeteuk – 3.28M
- BoA – 3.16M
- Super Junior’s Ryeowook – 3.08M
